After being fired from Congressman Alexander Blake’s congressional campaign for engaging in an affair with the married father of two, Adrian Cole lands in Washington, D.C., as an aide to the White House Deputy Chief of Staff. When he’s sent to deliver documents to Capitol Hill, Adrian runs into his former lover and old feelings quickly resurface. But when he meets an eccentric young man named Spencer at a bar, Adrian is equally quick to become smitten—only to discover that Spencer is actually the son of the very man he’s been sleeping with.

In an effort to suppress the scandal and derail the impending congressional hearings, the White House, in concert with Director of Central Intelligence Dr. Evelyn Hart, exposes Adrian’s relationships with both the congressman leading the investigation and his son, thrusting him into the center of a rapidly escalating political firestorm.
