CHAPTER FOUR: TERMS OF EXPOSURE
I’M ON MY BACK, breath still uneven, the ceiling a blur above me. My head is thrown back not in pleasure exactly, but in surrender to what I don’t yet understand.
Andrea is sitting in the recliner at the foot of the bed, watching with an expression I can’t immediately categorize—something closer to stunned recognition than horror, like she’s witnessing a version of me she didn’t know existed and isn’t sure she wants to.
Sergio is still in the room.
Still between my legs.
He hasn’t stopped. Hasn’t rushed. Hasn’t shifted into aftermath.
His mouth is still on me—measured, deliberate, unhurried—as if whatever just passed between Andrea and me is secondary to the task at hand. One hand braces lightly against my thigh, the other steady at my hip, keeping me exactly where he wants me. The message is unmistakable: this isn’t over because the air changed.
“You okay?” he murmurs against me, not lifting his head, just checking the pitch of my breath.
I laugh under it—breathless, wrecked. “Don’t you dare stop.”
There’s the smallest curve at the corner of his mouth. “I wasn’t planning to.”Andrea is still in the recliner.
Her mouth remains slightly open, but not in surprise—more in focused stillness, as if she’s steadying herself while she watches. She’s watching him work, watching the way my body answers without hesitation. Watching the discipline in his restraint—the way he brings me close and then eases back, close and then back again. He’s not trying to finish me quickly. He’s stretching the moment, thickening it, refusing to let any of us escape it.
And you see it too, don’t you? The inversion. The way the chair isn’t just furniture anymore. The way she’s the one observing the architecture she thought she designed.
The room hums with it.
Every pull of his mouth sends a tremor up my spine. Every pause leaves me suspended, aching, aware of how exposed I am—not just physically, but structurally. And somewhere inside that stretched, luminous tension, something clicks.
This—this suspended, breathless clarity—is what she must have been feeling. The stacked waves. The way sensation eclipses narrative. The way your face forgets how to lie.
The realization stays in my head. I don’t give it oxygen.
You learn something like that and you keep it. You don’t announce it. Not with her in the room.
Sergio glances up anyway, reading the shift in my breath. “You with me?”
I nod once, steady. “Yeah.”
That’s all he gets.
He doesn’t press. He just adjusts—subtle, intuitive—bringing me right back to the edge like he’s confirming what I already know without forcing me to say it.
I understand her now in a way I couldn’t from the chair. The multiple orgasms weren’t excess; they were inevitability. This is what happens when attention doesn’t fracture. When the body is allowed to keep going.
And here’s the part no one warns you about: when you finally experience the thing you’ve been supervising from a distance, it doesn’t feel like betrayal. It feels like revelation.
This is where it stops being something you watch…
and becomes something you feel.
The rest doesn’t hold back.
