I have long been fascinated by those beginnings. They are never as orderly as we imagine. They stumble, they hesitate, they pull us forward before we are ready. And yet, it is in their imperfection that the true heat lives. The tension before the first touch. The pause before surrender. The ember that dares to catch.

The Thorne Report is itself such a beginning. It will be a ledger of moments—stories that smolder, fragments that linger, dispatches from the House of Thorne that could not live anywhere else. Some will be reflective, others playful, all carrying the weight of something more than passing fancy.
